| Habitus | Small tree to 10 m ht; dbh 40 cm. Bark dark blackish grey, rough with deep vertical fissuring. Foliage discolourous, mid green above, paler below. Very abundant crop of unripe pods; pods long stipitate, glossy lime green inflated; ovules heavily predated with little or no seed set. |
