| Habitus | Shrub, up to 2m high. Leaves opposite, acute, subsessile, nearly glaucous, with erect bristles at base adaxialy. Cymes umbelliform, extra-axillary, pedunculate, corolla rotate, campanulate, valvate in bud, petals erect, greenish white outside, purple inside, corolla lobes flattened laterally; stigma pentagonal; calyx 5-parted almost to the receptacle. |
